River Place provides comprehensive inpatient behavioral health services and intensive outpatient programming for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, co-occurring disorders, and other acute mental health needs. The Director of Risk Management is responsible for leading the hospital's risk management, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. This leader works collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to investigate incidents, identify opportunities for quality enhancement, ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and foster a culture of safety that supports exceptional outcomes for the patients and families served by River Place Behavioral Health Hospital.
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all aspects of risk management activities. Promote a safe environment for the protection of patients, clients, employees, and visitors to the facility in such a manner as to comply with laws, regulations, and regulatory agencies. Identify risks that could potentially result in harm to patients, staff or visitors or lead to litigation or negative media or various forms of loss.
