About River Place Behavioral Health
River Place was created to serve individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by mental illness and certain co-occurring disorders. Our inpatient programming is designed for adults ages 18 and above who need intensive services in order to achieve stabilization and prepare for continued progress.
Depending upon each patient’s specific needs and goals, his or her personalized treatment plan at River Place may include medication management services, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Our programming also includes daily experiential therapies, including art, music, and movement/exercise therapy.
Following the completion of an individual’s time in our care, he or she will receive a detailed discharge plan. This plan will identify the professional referrals, community-based resources, and other supports that may be necessary to help the individual maintain and build upon the progress that he or she achieved while in our care.
