Delta Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Specialized Pediatric Unit in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based behavioral services and helping children and adolescents achieve meaningful progress in a hospital setting.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys a combination of direct patient care, staff mentorship, program development, and clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

 

As a BCBA, You will;

  • Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unit
  • Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associates
  • Trains new staff on ABA techniques
  • Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvement
  • Facilitates daily team meetings
  • Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-services
  • Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unit
  • Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in a timely manner
  • Participates in performance improvement activities
  • Follows all hospital policies and procedures
  • Must maintain license or certification in good standing
  • Flexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriate
  • Employee will be required to perform other job related duties as assigned by their supervisor

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with working with adolescent population
  • Must be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.


LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by BACB
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
