Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

 

The Corporate Project Admissions Director will be supporting and traveling to Acadia admissions departments around the country. The Corporate Project Admissions Director will act as the Admissions Director at facilities that have a vacancy. In addition, this Director will be responsible for identifying gaps in the admissions process, recognizing training needs to improve day-to-day admissions operations, and delivering actionable items to the facility admissions directors that support a smooth and efficient admission process for new patients. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Traveling to Acadia facilities and consulting with onsite Admissions Directors and front-end operations staff (~90% of the time will be spent traveling / at Acadia facilities)
  • Defining and measuring individual admissions-related goals at each facility.
  • Supporting and training facility Admission Directors on how to meet or exceed their facility’s admissions-related performance goals, including ADC, number of admissions, conversion rate, client service productivity, and admissions staff engagement.
  • Coaching and developing facility Admission Directors to improve their ability to build and manage an effective, high-performing admissions team.
  • The development and oversight of admissions-related processes, systems, and reporting in accordance with facility needs, company standards, and best practices.
  • Supporting facility Admission Directors with building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within and outside the organization including facility management and staff, marketers, Admissions Support Center (ASC) leadership and staff, and selected referents
  • Participating in Acadia initiatives to improve admissions capabilities and define standards and best practices across the company.
  • Standing in as local Admission Director at a facility when there is a vacancy for that position.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work (clinical field) or RN preferred
  • 3+ Years of Behavioral Health Admissions experience
  • Working knowledge of trends and best practices within the industry (Acute psychiatric hospitals or Residential treatment facilities).
  • Senior Leadership or management experience in admission setting
  • Ability to travel to US based Acadia Facilities (~90% of the role)
  • Proven ability to build relationships, lead, manage and drive business results through others. 
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to needs of their team, removing obstacles from their path
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.  Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
  • English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
