Acadia Healthcare and Orlando Health have formed a joint venture to develop, construct, and operate a state-of-the-art, two-story, 144-bed behavioral health hospital. This new facility will address the critical need for accessible, high-quality psychiatric care in the Orlando area, expanding the region’s capacity to serve patients across Central Florida. Located in Apopka, Florida, the newly built hospital will provide a comprehensive suite of behavioral health services to meet growing demands.
Acadia Healthcare is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer to join the Acadia and Orlando Health team and oversee operations at the existing 80 bed legacy behavioral health pavilion within the Orlando Health network and located in South Seminole, Florida. This role will initially focus on Orlando Health’s current behavioral health inpatient services, with the CEO ultimately transitioning the legacy Orlando Health behavioral health pavilion to the new hospital in Apopka once it opens.
