Overview

Weekend Rounder Psychiatrist is an excellent opportunity to cover at Haverhill Pavilion. This is 1 weekend out of every 6 weeks. Excellent hourly compensation rate, with no billing issues. We cover professional liability insurance with tail coverage.


This Psychiatrist will cover the Haverhill Pavilion patients form 5PM Friday until 7AM Monday morning. This psychiatrist will cover inpatients and be responsible for leading the team, rounding, medication management and admissions. 

Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health Hospital is a leading New England behavioral health facility that provides comprehensive mental health services for adults over the age of 19 in the Haverhill, MA, area. We offer acute inpatient services to help our patients stabilize and guide them toward a healthier lifestyle.

Responsibilities

Summary:

  • Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
  • Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
  • Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
  • Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
  • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
