Full Time Hours: Early morning hours offering a great work/life balance:

Spokane Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Spokane, WA, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation Our nursing team provides compassionate, high quality safe and efficient medication dispensing to patients that are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.

 

Your Role as LPN Nursing Supervisor:

The LPN Nursing Supervisor is responsible for directing care for patients, facilitating work flows, serving as a resource for staff, and providing team leadership in an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) environment. The LPN Nursing Supervisor maintains standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with clinic policy and procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Medication Room of the clinic is in full compliance with all facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations at all times.
  • Supervises daily clinical operations for staff, makes staff assignments and creates schedules, updates schedules for providers and support staff when changes are made.
  • Supervises and evaluates work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, service or maintenance staff for the work group, and other clinic staff, as directed.
  • Responsible for ensuring that medical records for patients are in compliance with facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations at all times, will review medical records to ensure compliance.
  • Oversees quality assurance activities and compliance with operational standards, participates in program development, development or implementation of operating policy and procedure, and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices, as requested.
  • Assists with the recruitment, hiring and training of new staff.
  • May be required to administer medications per physician/provider orders, accurately documents medication administration, and ensure accurate count of controlled substance medication administration on required documents.
  • May be required to perform blood and other specimen collection and processing and reading test results as ordered by Program Physicians.
  • Based on clinic service model, may be required to transport medication to other locations and/or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Compensation for roles at Spokane CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Spokane CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: Washington

Calculated Salary Range for role: $89,440.00 - $93,600.00 per year

Qualifications

Your Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN)
  • Minimum of 2+ years related nursing practice
  • Supervisory experience preferred, unless otherwise required by State or Licensing requirements.
  • Prefer experience in behavioral health/addiction recovery environment (inpatient or outpatient).

Ideal Experience:

  • Previous nursing experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.

  • Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including the safe handling, administration, and documentation of methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.

  • Experience in medication dispensing, monitoring patient dosing, and observing for adverse reactions or medication interactions.

  • Understanding of nursing best practices related to substance use treatment, including trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles.

  • Accurate and timely documentation of medication administration records (MARs), patient vitals, and incident reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., DEA, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards) related to controlled substances and patient care.

  • Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, counselors, case managers, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current LPN license in the state of Washington
  • Current CPR certification where required by state regulation.
