The Senior Resource Coordinator is responsible for building census in Acadia facilities by conducting business development activities in states not currently served by an Acadia facility. Responsible for assessing the behavioral health services in the state to determine opportunities available to market Acadia’s child and military focused programs. Present CBS/Acadia services to decision makers and negotiate contracts for services. Facilitates the receiving of referrals from the field, reviewing the referral packet to determine what facilities in network would best meet the treatment needs of the referral, ensuring a quick disposition from the facilities, targeting a facility for admission and then managing the case to admission. Serves as a liaison for both the facilities and referral sources to adequately relay pertinent information, i.e. concerns/problems that may arise during the care of a patient.
