White Deer Run of York at Mt. Zion is hiring a Manager - Human Resources (THIS POSITION IS ONSITE)  

White Deer Run of York at Mt. Zion is a trusted addiction treatment facility located in York, Pennsylvania.  It offers a 50-bed residential program specifically for men aged 18 and older struggling with substance use disorders.  The facility provides various treatment options, including medically monitored detox, short-term rehab, and long-term rehab.  It is conveniently situated near Rocky Ridge Park, making it accessible for those seeking help. 

PURPOSE STATEMENT: 

​Responsible for all phases of human resources within a facility to include recruiting and selection, onboarding, new hire orientation and payroll processing.  Responsible for compensation, employee relations and worker’s compensation.  

​ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• ​Manage the day-to-day HR functions for the facility. 
• ​Interpret HR policies for staff and respond to staff at all levels of the organization.  
• ​Translate complex information and provide highly specialized advice in a specific Human Resources discipline. 
• ​Serve as known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas. 
• ​Manage and implement corporate and local Human Resources programs to fulfill state and federal policies and regulations.  
• ​Identify data needed for reports and ensure reports accurately capture and present information appropriate to the audience.  
• ​Communicate information to all levels of the facility, including leadership, staff and other community members.  
• ​Responsible for leading, motivating and assessing diverse teams, including experienced and junior professionals.  
• ​May lead projects that impact the facility at the request of leadership or corporate Human Resources. 
• ​Responsible for compensation, employee relations and worker’s compensation.   

• ​Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.

• ​OTHER FUNCTIONS:  

  • ​Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. 

​EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

• ​Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field required.  
• ​One to three years’ previous experience in a Human Resources leadership role with demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation and human resources information systems required. 
• Candidate to have Healthcare Industry Experience, preferably behavioral health 

​LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:  

• ​Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.
