Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Bring learning to life through engaging, individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.
Create a positive, structured classroom where every student feels supported and motivated.
Collaborate daily with an amazing team of clinicians, counselors, and behavioral specialists to help students thrive.
Track progress, celebrate successes, and adjust plans to meet unique learning and behavioral needs.
Contribute your ideas and energy to a program that’s always growing and improving.

Qualifications

What You Bring

A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s a plus!).
Special Education Certification is a bonus!– we can’t wait to see your expertise in action.
Experience with students who have emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs is a big advantage.
Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive outlook.
A flexible, student-first mindset and a passion for making learning accessible for everyone.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field which is eligible for teacher certification or license within the state where the facility is located is required.
Masters of Education preferred.
One or more years’ experience working with population of the facility preferred.
Special Education certification preferred.
Must be knowledgeable of the developmental stages and behaviors for age group of students.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current certification or license to teach within the state where the facility is located.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
