Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Bring learning to life through engaging, individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.

  • Create a positive, structured classroom where every student feels supported and motivated.

  • Collaborate daily with an amazing team of clinicians, counselors, and behavioral specialists to help students thrive.

  • Track progress, celebrate successes, and adjust plans to meet unique learning and behavioral needs.

  • Contribute your ideas and energy to a program that’s always growing and improving.

     

     

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s a plus!).

  •  Special Education Certification is a bonus!– we can’t wait to see your expertise in action.

  • Experience with students who have emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs is a big advantage.

  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive outlook.

  • A flexible, student-first mindset and a passion for making learning accessible for everyone.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field which is eligible for teacher certification or license within the state where the facility is located is required.
  • Masters of Education preferred. 
  • One or more years’ experience working with population of the facility preferred.
  • Special Education certification preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the developmental stages and behaviors for age group of students.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current certification or license to teach within the state where the facility is located.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
