Your Role as Director of Nursing

You’ll lead our nursing team with vision and compassion, ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set strategic direction for nursing care delivery
• Mentor and develop nursing staff for high performance
• Collaborate across departments to meet patient needs
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Drive initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and patient experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RN license (CA or compact state)
• Proven leadership experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
• Strong clinical expertise and ability to manage complex cases
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
• Preferred: BSN or higher, prior DON or Nurse Manager experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)

• Licensure: Active RN license in the state of the facility (required)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years as a Registered Nurse (required); 6+ years preferred

  • 1+ year in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery (required); 2+ years preferred

  • 2+ years in progressive leadership or management (required)

  • Prior DON or Nurse Manager experience (preferred)
