We’re Hiring: Admissions Specialist Lead – Specialty Division (100% Remote)

Make a difference in behavioral health. Acadia Healthcare is one of the nation’s leaders in treating individuals with co-occurring mood, addiction, eating disorders, and trauma. We’re seeking a dynamic Admissions Specialist Lead to help families and patients access life-changing care.

You’ll be the first point of contact for individuals seeking treatment—providing guidance, compassion, and operational excellence. Your leadership ensures our admissions process runs smoothly across multiple facilities.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support admissions functions for multiple facilities
  • Provide day-to-day feedback and quality assurance for the admissions team
  • Review prospective admissions against approved criteria
  • Respond promptly to inquiry calls and schedule assessments
  • Assist patients and families in navigating treatment options
  • Coordinate with referral sources and arrange transportation
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the admissions process

What We’re Looking For

✔ College degree preferred
2+ years of healthcare admissions experience (mental health or substance abuse strongly preferred)
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality
✔ Leadership mindset with a passion for helping others

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC)
  • Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor (CCDS)
  • Certified Employee Assistance Program (CEAP)

Training Provided: CPR, de-escalation/restraint, and first aid (as required by state/facility)
