We are looking to hire a facility Clinical Services Supervisor for CenterPointe Columbia. The ideal candidate will be either a Master's level clinicain or Registered Nurse. Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred. 

 

Clinical Services Supervisor is an integral part of the leadership team and provides leadership to the clinical services team and cultivates the function of the department as an integrated team.

 

Seeking

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health or related field required. Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.
  • Three or more years’ clinical experience in a health or human service agency.
  • One or more years’ working directly with the facility patient population required.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary and ancillary support staff in the provision of mental health services to patients.  
  • Provide daily administrative oversight to the team, with technical supervision of licensed clinical staff exercised in accordance with scope-of-practice guidelines.
  • Provide care coordination as needed to patients to ensure the coordination of care and to facilitate access to needed services.
  • Review case records for completeness, consistency, and quality of services provided including application of proper techniques; ensures compliance with state and federal mandates.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing mandatory and discretionary programs in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations by determining type and level of services to be provided; measure of quality-assurance to be employed; and formulating and carrying out policies and procedures.
  • Review and assess client treatment plans, including short- and long-term goals. Review clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of patient care.
  • Complete required paperwork including intake forms, progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries
  • Document and maintain client contacts, care coordination, crisis/consult contacts, and community contacts according to ethical standards and organizational protocols.
  • Conduct treatment plan review as required.
  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.  Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health or related field required. Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.
  • Three or more years’ clinical experience in a health or human service agency.
  • One or more years’ working directly with the facility patient population required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Certification/Licensure as required by state.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
