Henry Ford Behavioral Health Hospital—Michigan’s newest, state‑of‑the‑art inpatient behavioral health facility—is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead this joint venture between Acadia Healthcare and Henry Ford Health. The CEO will be employed by Acadia Healthcare, serving as the senior executive responsible for operational, clinical, and strategic leadership.
Opened in 2025, the hospital features modern, healing‑focused design, six outdoor therapeutic spaces, and a calming environment built to support stabilization, recovery, and long‑term mental wellness. It serves adolescents, adults, and seniors across the Detroit region with high‑quality inpatient behavioral health care.
About the Hospital:
Henry Ford Behavioral Health Hospital provides short‑term inpatient psychiatric treatment using evidence‑based therapies including CBT, DBT, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and experiential modalities like art and music.
The hospital treats a full spectrum of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, trauma/PTSD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, self‑harm, and suicidal ideation, and provides care for patients with co‑occurring conditions including substance use disorders and developmental or cognitive challenges.
