Your Impact
As Interim Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee all nursing operations and advance clinical excellence throughout the facility. In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop nursing teams to ensure compassionate, patient‑centered care
• Ensure compliance with CARF, TJC, CMS, and state regulatory standards
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning
• Monitor clinical outcomes and drive quality‑improvement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized treatment
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning

As part of Acadia Healthcare, you’ll have autonomy at the facility level while receiving national-level resources and guidance, including:

• Corporate Nurse Executive Support for regulatory guidance and clinical best practices
• Corporate Recruiting Partnership to help you build a strong and stable nursing team

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred
• 6+ years RN experience preferred; 3 years required
• 2 years in behavioral health, addiction, or psychiatric care preferred (1 year required)
• Prior DON or Nurse Manager experience preferred
• 2+ years progressive leadership or management experience required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Passion for providing compassionate, evidence‑based care
