Our CTCs integrate behavioral therapy with on-site medication, offering a broad spectrum of substance abuse treatment support services. These services encompass medical, counseling, vocational, educational, and other essential treatments, guiding patients towards recovery. The treatment models we employ include individual and group therapy, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient care, partial hospitalization/day treatment, road to recovery, and more.

 

Job Opportunity: Chief Medical Officer

 

 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team as Chief Medical Officer within the Comprehensive Treatment Center division. As CMO, you will lead clinical initiatives, provide guidance, and oversee the medical management of our Opioid Treatment Programs across the organization. Your expertise will drive excellence in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs, while promoting a culture of innovation, quality, and compliance. Our goal is to deliver holistic care, utilizing therapies and safe medications to combat the opioid epidemic effectively.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities as Chief Medical Officer:

  • Provide clinical leadership and ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Define medical protocols and contribute to clinical decision-making processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to State and Federal Regulations (42 CFR Part 8).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external agencies for comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise a team of employees.
  • Act as a liaison between medical staff, facility staff, and organizational leadership.
  • Provide clinical guidance during emergency situations.
  • Mentor and provide training opportunities for personnel.
  • Develop organizational goals, objectives, and policies to enhance program effectiveness.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications as a Chief Medical Officer:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
  • Minimum three years of post-graduate practice experience.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Director.
  • Board-certified in Addiction Medicine or eligible for certification.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in opioid addiction treatment, with a strong understanding of MAT.
  • Current license to practice medicine as required by the state.
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state of practice.
  • Ability to travel when required.
