PURPOSE STATEMENT:  The Project DCS will be supporting and traveling to Acadia facilities around the country to provide clinical leadership. The Project DCS will act as the DCSC at facilities that have a vacancy and/or will provide periodic extended onsite support to an interim leader and will help to facilitate a smooth transition once a permanent clinical leader is hired.  The Project DCS will be responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of clinical services, other departments and the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. The Project DCS will supervise the clinical team and will collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration to ensure that all residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints.   Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as clinical best practices.
